MP3 Jukebox |

There’s something to be said about a jukebox, that big unit standing against the wall with the neon lights that you load up with coins and spend countless minutes flipping through the pages of selections, finding just the right combination of songs to listen to until your money runs out. Yes I remember this pool hall/fast food place I used to hang out the summer I graduated from high school. I became quite the pool shark that summer, and they had the best jukebox. It was filled with 45s and you got 10 plays for $100. I had some great times in there. I used to go so often that the guys would see my friend and I coming and just turn the lights on our usual table. A few times they even gave us free songs on the jukebox when we’d walk up with our money to add our selections to theirs.
Those were some good times. I remember friends and family that had a jukebox in their basements, something that this music junkie always thought was cool. There was a time in my life when I thought about getting a jukebox when I had my own house but to be honest, it’s something I have forgotten about. Real life has a way of interrupting plans we once made when we were younger.
But now I look and see there are MP3 jukeboxes, something I honestly had never thought about before. The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of having an MP3 jukebox, if for no other reason than to not have doubles of all the music I currently own. Now my hesitancy with MP3 jukeboxes would be the look. To be honest, as much as I am into electronics, something I would not want would be a MP3 jukebox that looked like an ipod player or something like that. I would want a good, old fashioned jukebox that played MP3s, and that to me, is what I think of when I hear the term MP3 jukebox.
If you’ve ever thought about adding a little nostalgia in the form of a jukebox to your home, you might as well go for the MP3 jukebox.
