Buying a home theater system was one of the best investments I've ever made for my home. Of course, it doesn't add any value to my home, or add to the resale value. The entertainment value of it though is worth ten times as much as I paid for it. My home theater system is made up of a plasma TV on a wall mount, a 7.1 surround sound system, and a HD DVD player.

My favorite feature of my home theater system though is an ipod accessory that turns my entire system into a cool mp3 jukebox. I bought a small ipod docking station that hooks right into my surround sound receiver so I can play music without having to buy expensive audio components. The sound is simply breathtaking. I also add that to a cool program that will display graphics that go with the music on the plasma TV. Whenever I play music through my home theater system it sounds like
I'm in the middle of a huge amphitheater with music surrounding me everywhere.
