Last summer when the holidays were almost over, my friends and I decided that we'd put together a party. We got some sponsors, collected food and invited all the young people in town. It was decided that the party would be at my house. The day of the party came and everything started well. But a couple of hours later, the party started dying. People were bored and didn't know what to do.

My dad had recently bought me a home theater system which was in the living room. I had just bought a new set of dance videos. Trying desperately to save the party, I put the DVD into the player and increased the volume. The screen lit up with dance moves and the music could be heard at the end of the block. Everyone stopped talking and started looking at the video playing on the home theater system. Soon people started tapping their feet, and then dancing. We danced all night until our legs hurt. It was the best party that summer. And I'll never forget how a home theater system saved my party.
