mp3 jukebox, home theater system Being out of school for now, I remember how precious the last couple weeks of August before school starts were. It is the last few days to sleep in; I miss not having anything on the mind except what’s going on at night. One of my favorite pre school practices was to pull up the MP3 jukebox and create a playlist of all the best songs from May, June and July. After the MP3 jukebox playlist is 20 to 30 songs deep, it is time to have one last August pre school party.

Last year, two roommates and myself did this under the hot Arizona August sun in a fun pool party. Moving the tower speakers toward the backyard windows, we turned up the home theater system and started the MP3 jukebox playlist. A few friends already in town for the start of school came over. We set up floating beer pong, swam under the palm trees and lived the last few days stress free. We knew by the end of the first of school homework would be taking up our time off. I suggest doing something similar for all those headed back to school in the next couple of weeks.
